All things must come to an end, including, it seems, Jesus’ ministry and presence with the Apostles: first His death, then His Resurrection, then His Ascension. It seems Jesus is like every other person or event in our lives: it lasts a while but ultimately ends. However, the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost brings God closer to us than we could ever possibly imagine!
